Atlas Computers Ltd, the developer of SCC software, was formed in Ireland in 1989 to develop solutions for the land survey and civil engineering community, and now enjoys more than a thousand users in the UK, Europe, and farther afield, ranging from major multinationals through government bodies and private surveying firms.

SCC is a comprehensive survey and modelling package in its third decade of continuous development offering unparalleled breadth of functionality and field to finish performance. Key features include

Point Cloud: Process huge mobile LIDAR, scanning and UAV data. Model topographic surveys, building sections, floor plans, sections and volumes. Extract 3d data from pano and flat images. Direct import of LGSx, E57, LAS, LAZ and many other formats.

Roads: Automatically extract kerbs, barriers, highway edges, road markings, and street furniture. Road surface defect / pothole, clearance and swept path analysis

Rail and tunnels: Rapid extraction of rail running edges, platform edges, OLE and gantries and tunnel and carriage to carriage clearance data. Compute cant and gauge, overlaps, formation adjustment, wriggle surveys, lift and slue, height and stagger. Amberg and Gedo support.

Rivers: Streamlined river surveying with EACSD / ISIS / HECRAS output.

Design: Alignments and templates with multiple surfaces, widening, and interfaces.

Sections & volumes: Multi-surface cross sections, profiles, parallel sections. Volumes by areas and ground types. Cut & fill balancing.

Survey & adjustment: Download from any total stations, scanners, GPS and levels. Least squares analysis. Geodetic and local transformations. Output to DWG, DGN, IFC, MX, GIS, LandXML, and Google Earth.
